| #21: August 8th, 2010 - Cleaning the Rear Tail Light Panel and Fixing Hidden Damage... The rear tail light panel appeared to be in good condition. I wanted to remove the seam sealer just to make sure no rust was hiding underneath. I used a scraper and wire brush to remove the sealer then a scuff pad and paint thinner to remove the dirt. While using the grinder to clean up some spot welds on the bottom of the panel, I noticed a section of the panel on the drivers side corner that didn't look right. Further inspection revealed that part of the sheet metal had been torn and pushed up. I used pliers, body hammer and dolly to straighten it out, then welded up the torn metal. A coat of primer over the entire area finished it off.             | ||
