I get closer to painting the under-side of the car, I am doing more
final preperation on many parts and sub-assemblies. I had worked on the
K-Member last year, but as I examined it again, there was quite a lot
of welding spatter and slag that I had missed. Another round with the air grinder and some stones and cartridge rolls was in order. After that was done, some etching primer covered up the bare spots. Now it's ready for final sanding and paint. I also pulled out the K-Member rear threaded inserts and gave them a blasting and primer coat. | ||
