| #79: September 17th, 2012 - Console, Rear Seat and Trunk Trim Install.... | ||
| The
Console was the next part to go into the car. The Console itself was
the same one that came in the car when I purchased it. However, the arm
rest, insert, parking brake rubber seal and shifter surround were all
replaced with better parts. Before installing it, the console was
coated with the same SEM products used on the door panels and other
black interior trim. Unfortunately, one of the mounting tabs for the
shifter trim part & dash attachment are broken, so I am on the
lookout for a better one. | ||

Next
was the Rear Seat. This seat came out of the '98 Cobra that I picked up
for parts. It has very little wear and no cuts or holes. Very rare for
a 14-year old seat.  | ||
| Finally
the Trunk Trim and spare got installed. The spare tire is the one that
came with the car. The 17 inch wheel was repainted. (The tire, however,
is flat due to a nail hole in the sidewall) The trunk carpet and trim panels are from the '98 Cobra parts car.    | ||
